God’s calling on your life is not a call to put you on a tower and to look down on everyone else, but a call for you to stay down in order to lift up anyone downtrodden. God is preparing you according to his own purpose and you can never escape his call. Much as you attempt to allow your ideas and opinions to overcome his desire, you will still end up being his instrument of touching a lot of hearts in the way you converse, in the way you smile, in the way you forgive, in the way you show kindness, and in the way you love unconditionally. When he asks you to follow him, don’t just stay in the comfort of your boat, but to step out on the water unmindful of the waves. Never fear as you will always have a stronghold in his grip.

God will never call those qualified, but he will always qualify those he called.
